Air Freshener Spray
A ready-to-mist spray for the moments a jar freshener can't reach — quick to make and refillable in the same bottle indefinitely.
What you'll need
- 1 cup distilled water
- 2 tbsp vodka or rubbing alcohol (helps the oil disperse and extends shelf life)
- 15–20 drops essential oil
- A clean spray bottle
Steps
- Pour the alcohol into the spray bottle first, then add the essential oil and swirl to combine.
- Top off with the distilled water, leaving a little headspace.
- Cap the bottle and shake gently before each use.
- Mist lightly into the air — avoid spraying directly on fabric or wood finishes.
Tip: Distilled water keeps the spray clear and prevents mineral spotting on surfaces — tap water works, but distilled lasts longer without cloudiness.
