All-Purpose Liquid Cleanser
A concentrated liquid base that dilutes down for laundry pre-treating, hand-washables, or general household wipe-downs — one bottle, several jobs.
What you'll need
- 1 cup liquid castile soap
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp washing soda
- 10 drops essential oil (optional, for scent)
Steps
- Warm the water slightly and dissolve the washing soda into it completely.
- Stir in the castile soap and essential oil, mixing gently to avoid excess suds.
- Pour into a labeled bottle for storage.
- Dilute as needed: a capful for hand-washables, a splash for pre-treating stains.
Tip: Stir, don't shake, when mixing castile soap — vigorous shaking creates excess foam that takes a while to settle.
