Floor Shine
A final-rinse solution that leaves sealed floors glossy after mopping, without the waxy buildup of commercial floor polish.
What you'll need
- 1 gallon warm water
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Steps
- Mix cornstarch into a little warm water until dissolved, then add to the rest.
- Stir in the vinegar.
- Mop the floor with this final rinse and let air dry.
Tip: Use a well-wrung mop — too much water leaves the cornstarch cloudy as it dries.
