Houseplant Feed
Leftover cooled coffee and used tea leaves give indoor plants a mild, slow-release feed — a simple way to put kitchen scraps to work.
What you'll need
- 1 cup cooled, unsweetened black coffee or brewed tea
- 1 cup water
Steps
- Dilute coffee or tea with water.
- Water houseplants with the mixture once every two to three weeks.
Tip: Only use plain, unsweetened, black coffee or tea — cream, sugar, and flavorings can attract pests or grow mold in the soil.
