Ink Remover
Fresh ink pulls out of most fabrics far more easily than dried ink — treat it the moment you notice the mark for the best results.
What you'll need
- Rubbing alcohol
- A clean white cloth or cotton ball
- A second absorbent cloth or paper towel
Steps
- Place the absorbent cloth underneath the stained area to catch the ink as it lifts.
- Dab (never rub) the stain with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol, working from the outside of the stain inward.
- Replace the cotton ball as it picks up ink, continuing until no more color transfers.
- Launder as usual once the stain is fully lifted.
Tip: Test the alcohol on an inside seam first — some dyes can bleed with alcohol exposure, especially on delicate or hand-dyed fabrics.
