Metal Polish
A vinegar and salt paste brings shine back to copper, brass, and stainless steel kitchenware — the acid in vinegar dissolves tarnish that a dry cloth can't touch.
What you'll need
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tbsp salt
- Flour, enough to thicken into a paste
Steps
- Dissolve salt in vinegar, then stir in flour to form a paste.
- Rub onto the tarnished metal with a soft cloth.
- Let sit 10 minutes, then rinse and buff dry.
Tip: Not for silver — use the dedicated Silver Cleaners recipes instead, since the acidity here is too aggressive for silver's softer finish.
