Nonstick Cookware Stain Remover
A gentle simmer of baking soda and water clears discoloration from nonstick pans without abrasive scrubbing that could scratch the coating.
What you'll need
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
Steps
- Combine water and vinegar in the pan and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat, discard the liquid, and stir in baking soda with a splash of water to form a paste.
- Wipe the pan clean with a soft sponge, then rinse.
Tip: Never use metal utensils or scouring pads on nonstick surfaces — they shorten the coating's lifespan even if the stain lifts easily.
