Silver Polish
A lemon-and-baking-soda paste for heavier tarnish on larger silver pieces — the citric acid gives it extra lifting power over plain baking soda alone.
What you'll need
- 3 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- A soft cloth
Steps
- Mix baking soda and lemon juice into a paste — it will fizz briefly.
- Rub onto the silver with the cloth.
- Rinse and buff dry immediately.
Tip: Rinse promptly — leaving lemon juice on silver too long can dull the finish over time.
