Silverstone/Teflon Bleach Soak
For heavier discoloration on nonstick pans, we've swapped the traditional chlorine bleach soak for oxygen bleach — it whitens just as well without the harsh fumes or residue.
What you'll need
- 2 tbsp oxygen bleach (sodium percarbonate)
- 4 cups hot water
Steps
- Dissolve oxygen bleach fully in hot water in the pan.
- Let soak 20 minutes.
- Empty, wash with mild soap, and rinse thoroughly.
Tip: Always rinse cookware thoroughly after any soak before cooking with it again.
