A lighter-hold alternative to Laundry Starch for everyday shirts that need a bit of crispness without full stiffness.
What you'll need
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 cups cold water
- A clean spray bottle
Steps
- Dissolve the cornstarch completely in the cold water.
- Pour into the spray bottle and shake well before each use.
- Mist evenly over the garment before ironing.
- Iron while the fabric is still slightly damp for the smoothest finish.
Tip: This lighter ratio is meant for everyday wear — for a stiffer, more formal finish, use the Laundry Starch recipe instead.
