A mild dish soap solution wipes cooking-splatter and handprints from painted walls and wood trim near the kitchen without dulling the finish.
What you'll need
- 2 cups warm water
- 1 tsp dish soap
Steps
- Mix soap into the water.
- Dampen a soft cloth and wipe walls and woodwork gently.
- Follow with a dry cloth to buff and remove any moisture.
Tip: Test in a hidden corner first on flat or matte paint — a damp cloth can occasionally burnish a sheen into the surface.
